I was diagnosed with severe obstructive lung disease secondary to diffuse lobar bronchial narrowing. I have been on prednisone for 5 months now and experienced some relief. I am currently tapering off but the symptoms are worsening again. My Dr.s at the Mayo Clinic have never seen this condition before and frankly don't know how to treat it. The next plan is to put me on some chemotherapy type drugs. I am afraid of the side effects. I am looking for other alternatives. Can anyone help me?
