My mother is 81 and had cataract surgery (not laser) 2 weeks ago and her vision is still very cloudy, showing very little improvement on a day to day basis. Her doctor gives us very little information and simply says her vision may never return. He has never given her any idea of what to expect following the surgery. His nurses say her progress is normal. Is it too early to be worried? Do you know of people with similar experiences and did it simply take them longer to heal and regain their vision? Much of what I have read said vision should return in a very few days. Thank you for your response.
