My dad has psp I am his care giver,he had been diagnosed with parkinson 2 yrs ago and when he came to live with me 6 mos ago I made an appt in denver 3 hours away at the colorado nuerological center because I was sure he did not have parkinsons, I read and stayed on the internet for hours trying to learn more about psp and was convinced he had it.I was right on the money it has been 5 1/2 months since the diagnosis, we were then told he was in the later stages already having trouble swallowing, standing and talking. The biggest problem, he is on hospice and they had never heard of this disease and have no idea what drugs work or how to help him. He is having vivid halucinations all night and there is just no way to get through to him that this is not real.If you have any helpful solutions I am open for all and any. I wish I could help him through this, more than just taking care of him.Annie
