Liz, I too will have a colonoscopy Nov 29. I had one about 10 years ago and found the prep worse than the procedure. You probably will get a mild sedative, won't you? It puts you in la-la land and you shouldn't remember much. I do, however, remember them doing the procedure and was uncomfortable, but it wasn't unbearable. I found the Fleet prep worse than the procedure. What will you be taking? I am wondering if the Golightly or Nulytely is not as bad as Fleet. (Causes cramps and rectal "pushing" pain.) A nurse friend did say to drink lots and lots of water during the prep because the prep dehydrates your body. It is an unfortunate uncomfort we have to go through, but sure gives us peace of mind when it is over. Good luck, please let me know how the prep was and what kind it was. Gerrie
