The rheumatologist has diagnosed my pain, swelling, etc. in my left foot to be R.S.D. I have been to physical therapy for 5 weeks now. The pain is a little less, and the muscles are getting stronger. I can even bend my toes a little! The pain was 1/2 way to my knee when I went to doc. the first time. 3 weeks ago, my whole leg started hurting. The nerve up to my groin was quite painful. I went back to doc. He said I had pinched nerve. The P.T. checked me over good. The sciatic (SP?) nerve was very painful, as well as 2 places at the base of my spine. P.T. said my pelvis was twisting every time I put weight on my left foot. About 2 weeks ago, my left arm started hurting. My elbow feels tingle-y 95 % of the time. My hand tingles too. And, the upper arm feels tired all of the time. The P.T. says he doesn't know what to do for my back now. The elec. stimulation and ultrasound don't seem to be helping the pain. He told me today to not do any back exercises, and to avoid bending and twisting this weekend, that maybe this would help. He really doesn't seem to know what the problem is. I am very confused. I think I want to go to a different doc. in Chicago. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you very much! By the way, the pain all started the first week of July when I got 2 wasps stings right next to each other, on my ankle.
