This is really weird. I am having the exact same problems. I got off the pill July and had one period off of the pill. I haven't had one since, that was 3months ago. I was put one the pill when I was 16 to normal out my cycle. I got off the pill three years later just because I was tired of taking them and I never started my period after that. Eight months later a doctor put me back on the pill because she said that it was important for me to have a period. When I got back on the pill, my periods resumed. Not long after I talked to another doctor and he told me "well you can take the pill if you want a period, but if you don't want to deal with a period each month then stop taking them." It's not going to hurt you either way. Needless to say I got off of the pill again and didn't have a period for about 8 months when another doctor said again that I need to have a period at least every 3 months or run the risk of devoling uterine cancer. So I again got back on the pill. I had been on the pill off and on like this since I was 16. I am now 22 and married. My husband wanted to have kids and I don't even know what to say. As I said to start out with I think that we are going though the exact same thing. Please let me know what you find out about this. I am in the military and as I explained earlier the doctors have given me the run-a-round with this. I feel like if I want any answers that I'm going to have to get them on my own.
