I was wondering if bakers cysts are usually painful? I currently have lymphadenitis (swollen nodes) and have been seeing an oncologist to rule out lymphoma. During this period I developed a large lump behind my knee and he feels as though it could be a bakers cyst vs. lymph node. It is definitely not painful. I didn't even realize it was there until someone pointed it out to me. Are they generally painful?
