Breastfeeding & Joint Pain

I am b/f my daughter & since about 2 weeks after she was born I had tremendous pain in my shoulders and knees that actually would wake me up in the night. I have since refrained from exercises such as push ups & (weight less) squats and the pain in my shoulders went away, but my knees still hurt & my hips lately. Before I became pregnant I jogged at least 3 days a week, lifted weights and have never ever had any injuries or any kind of joint pain. I have talked to my DR. & searched other sites, but haven't found any answers. The Dr. just said it was probably "Childcare injuries", but it's not because it's almost constant pain and is even in my ankles, sometimes my wrists. My hands even cramp within 10 seconds while trying to hold something like a menu. I thought I'd try posting, perhaps someone else is experiencing this too. I am taking Glucosamine, & I noticed a little difference, but not enough. I am just wondering if perhaps breast feeding is robbing my body of needed calcium & stuff. If any one has any ideas or heard of anything like this I would appreciate any possible suggestions. Thank you. Tina
