Denise
My Father was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome in December of 1999. After several treatments and different drugs he was diagnosed at the Mayo clinic in September of 2000 with Acute Leukemia. He is currently hospitalized and attempting more chemotherapy in hopes of putting it in remission. He continues to have a very positive outlook considering we lost my mom in February of 1999. This dissease is so bazaar. To look at my Father it would be very difficult for the average person to see that he is ill. I would also be interested in hearing from anyone who has already gone through this treatment and is currently in remission.
