My wife has had a CK reading as high as 880. The last reading a couple of months ago, was 565. No one as yet has clearly diagnosed or recommended any treatment. A neurologist and an Endocrinology specialist have been of little help. My wife has been put on Thyroid medicine for the time being. Two questions: (1) What can you offer as assistance to my wife's problem ? (She is 65 yrs. old, I neglected to mention) (2) She is also taking CARDIZEM for high blood pressure. Manufacturer states "can increase CK reading", but with no explanation. How much of an increase can we expect ?? Have asked this question of the manuf. but NO reply. Thank you.
