My mother-in-law is 87 and she had had hemorrhoids many many years ago. Three years ago her hemorrhoids was quite bad and when she went to the doctor, the doctor gave her an injection which stops the bleeding that comes together with the stool. Now she started to bleed again wheneve she had bowel movements. Recently when she went to see the doctor, he refused to give her the injection anymore. The doctor claims that there's something wrong with her colon. and that 20% likely that she may have cancer. The doctor suggested enema (clearance of the colon and intestines). Based on her experience and her age she refused to do enema. Is there any suggestions that she should do?
