My uncle was diagnosed with Hashimotos in March of this year. He was so weak he could barely lift his arms and had to sit down often. He hasn't had much hairloss but he has mood swings, severe short term memory loss and some long term memory loss. He was put on synthroid and told by many doctors and specialists that it will take time for his body to get back to normal because he let his symptoms go for more than a year. Now, he is so hyper he does'nt sleep, he eats constantly and he can't seem to sit still for more than a few minutes. He is tested often and is told that his thyroid is ok it just takes time for him to feel better. I wish you well.
