I had one removed in 1982 and as result of the procedure I lost the sight of that eye, it develoded a blood clot and went complete blind and then the eyeball got so bad that it had to be removed, so now I have a glass eye. MY other eye went bad and had an operation on it and came out OK except do have to wear glasses to read, I sure miss my other eyeball, you will never know how difficult it is with one eye however, I did pass my drivers license test with no problem and that was all that matter. My age is 80 but I still get around very good and long with the emphysema and wear oxygen 24/7.
