I was recently diagnosed with iga nephropathy.following a very difficult pregnancy. My doctor said that it was very unusual for the disease to have caused problems in pregnacy, but it did. I developed severe hypertension following delivery, sometimes as high as 210/110, I have 3800 grams of protien in my urine (it was much higher before delivery.) I would like to know if anyone else has experienced the same problems during pregnancy, and what can be done to put the disease into remission. I would also like to get pregnant again and would like advice on how to avoid problems again.
