Paula, the Bentyl never did help. I finally had a colon resection on 9/5, and I feel so much better. I had a foot removed. It has been almost a month now, and I'm almost back to 100%. Of course I still have to be careful not to eat seeds and nuts and I'll probably drink Metamucil for the rest of my life, but it was all worth it. Thanks for the replies
