I suspect my 76 year old mom has developed anorexia. She demonstrates some of the symptoms, such as plays with food, avoids eating, doesn't like the way food tastes or feels in her mouth, etc. She has lost a lot of weight and is subject to depressions. She has developed other health concerns - a constant cough, heart problems (yet to be diagnosed). I think that her health has deteriorated because of her 'relationship with food' rather than the other way around. Should I discuss this with her doctor? Thanks
