My son at age 4 had both lenses removed due to cataracts with intra occular implants put in. HAVE THE SURGERY. You cannot cure cataracts. The surgery is easy, quick and relatively painfree. The only inconvenience is the eyedrops afterward. My little boy is almost 20/20 with his glasses on. He could not see the eyechart with one eye and the second line of the chart with the other eye.
