My daughter is 27 and drs told her that all her blood work is very low. Platelet count is 127,000. Her red blood cell count is 2.9 should be 4.0. She had a baby 3 years ago and we almost lost both of them. She was fine for all this time. Now Dr. tells her she may need a bone marrow transplant. Since she was a child Drs told me that her blood counts were low, especially white but that could be normal for her. I am concerned. Is there medicine that can be taken instead of a bone marrow transplant that could help her. They call it Pancytopenia that she has because all her blood work is low and has been since she had the baby. Is this caused from her pregnancy and can it be treated?
