I experienced a brain concussion and skull fracture while stationed in Berlin Germany with the US Army. Thirty-eight years later I lost vision in the right eye due to a macular pucker. I discovered findings from a retinal consultant in New York the injury may have caused the macular pucker. My personal Ophthalmologist agrees and states the it is possible the macular pucker in the right eye is related to some previous trauma. I have letters from four other doctors (Ophthalmologists and/or retinal specialists)stating the same. My problem is locating a physician that will provide evidence in writing which demonstrates a plausible relationship between macular pucker, right eye and fracture, left zygomatic arch with associated concussion. I would appreciate any input. Robert.
