What is the connection between diabetes & arthritis? I've been diagnosed with typeI (2 injections a day) I've been taking insulin for 2 yrs., the drug called Actos is very helpful for folks (like me) who are insulin resistant. I also take synthroid (due to thyroid cancer 15yrs. ago). Lately, I have so much fluid retention to the point of feeling like my skin will burst. Is it middle age or hormone replacement? I take premarin (had a hysterctomy 1 yr. ago), thyroid removal (cancer 15yrs. ago). I suffer from panic attacks (the doctors cannot pinpoint my meds mg.). Any advice would be appreciated.
