My hubby had it for longer than that when he went to a sports podiatrist who gave him stretching foot exercises which he does faithfully each morning and has for years and he swears by them. He was a runner and it go so bad that he could hardly walk a block. He doesn't run anymore because of knee problems but he hikes 5 to 10 miles without problems. Longer than that his feet get a little sore.
