Hi, My name is Erik,male,42 years,Netherlands I am suffering of so called hemifacial spasm.It started a few years ago around my mouth and affected my left eye as well.In Holland were I live I am treated with botox injections for two years now.I informed about the possibilities to get a treatment by microvascular Decompression in Holland.The Dutch specialists however do not advise such a treatment because of the realistic chance of morbidity.I heard that in the U.S.A.these operations are done often even in not severe cases of Hemifacial Spasm.
