My seven year old son is on his 5th case of strep in the last four months. Was wondering if anyone knows if having their tonsils out helps. He has been on different antibiotics each time and tested positive when he was healthy. They just now put him on another antibiotic. I am going to recommend going to an ear nose throat specialist and see what they say. I dont feel comfortable having him on antibiotics all the time.
