Hi - I have suffered from low back pain for many years now and have had one surgery (laminectomy)in the 1980s. I am currently seeing a doctor at a pain management clinic. I have had the epidural injections, facet point injections, etc. etc. etc. I have taken all sorts of medications as well, all to no avail. Has anyone been prescribed an anticonvulsant called Topamax to treat their chronic pain? I have just started taking it at a very low dose and was wondering if anyone has had any success with it. I took Neurontin for a while and got no relief whatsoever, but apparently Topamax works in an entirely different way. Thanks for any help or information you might be able to send my way. JJ
