Hi: I am a fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, polymyalgia rheumatica patient. In March of 2000 my m.d. put in a low dosage of steriod. I began to experience other symptoms which caused the doc to put me on 78 mg of steriod all the way up from 8 mg/day. Just today I was diagnosed with Cushings Syndrome caused by too much steriod. I look absurd! Round face, puffy eyes, swollen body, hair is a mess, skin is thin and has purple marks on it, I bruise easily and irritable and emabarassed to go out in public. My cloths don't fit I for one who is usually very attractive...I feel and look "frumpy." Should I have a specifice diet, exercise program to help my looks change. I am currenly "dosing down" but nothing in my face or body is getting better. I am depressed and discouraged. Any solid suggestions to help would be appreciated. Becky, Florida
