I just found out about my aunt having chrones disease and I'm trying to find out more about it. The more I find-the more I worry. It seems to me that my great grandmother and grandmother ect.. where treated for pkd, and both ended up with colostomy bags for ruptured intestines close to the ends of thier lifes. Not trying to jump to conclusions- I just can't find a Dr. online to talk about the possible misdiagnosis or the posibilities that I might have to watch for both of these diseases in my future. I was brought up knowing that pkd and thyroid problems are a big factor in my family health history, and on one of these threads it was mentioned that chrones was an aunt to niece generational thing just worries me. I see that I'll have to study up on this more. (this is the first place I have looked.) I would apreciate any info.
