I was rear-ended on May 30, 2000. Since that time I have headaches, bulging disk in C5-C6, and decreased disk space between C1 to C7. My Right shoulder is affected as well, the joint is inflamed and hurts when moved. Pain radiates from the shoulder area toeards the hand and fingers. Tingeling sensation is intermittend. The area between my shoulder blades, and the area under the collar bone is affected as well. Currently I am taking percocet and motrin every 6 hours for the pain. Three times a week I be seen by a physical therapist for TENS, Ultrasound, Massage, and traction therapy. It does alleviate the symptoms a little bit but not enough. Is there anybody in the same situatioin as I am that can give me some advise? I am still waiting for my appointment with the orthopedic surgeon to get evaluated, but this might take up to six weeks. An MRI and X-rays have been taken. Nobody ever bothered to check my shoulder. The physical therapist started to tape my shoulder to take the pressure off, in the hope it would decrease the pain. Another question I want to ask is this: Has anybody ever had surgeon done because of a very bad form of adhesions? I was diagnosed with a ovarian cyst that kept on growing and I had dysfunctioinal uterine bleeding since my baby was born in December of 1999. When they did a exploratory laparoscopy they found that my bladder, and uterus were grown to getter and into the scar where I had my C-section. The top of the uterus was grown into the abdominal wall, and as a result when I walked it was completely taken out of its normal position. The surgery took two hours and the MD said that she had never seen such a case as this. Might it be a possibility that my previous docter who performed the C-section messud-up and stitched everything together? Is there anybody who can give me some answers? I ended up having major surgery done from which I am recovering at the moment.I would appreciate any response to my questions.
