Dec 4 1999 was the last time my cataract operation was done. The right eye is fine. Left eye is giving me nothing but problems. In the VA you never have the same doctor twice. Last operation for the left eye was done by another doctor who foriegn. I could not communicate with. I have had problems with this eye from surgery until this date. I have been to three different eye surgeons in the VA and they all have the records in front of them when I talk to them. They all agree whatever with what ever the first doctor has said on the records. This way they don't get in trouble with the VA hospital. My problem always has been with my left eye. Extreme glare day and night, all the eye surgeons agree that there is a ring around my eye on the outside. (Outer Edge) They keep telling me that I should keep waiting until it gets worse. I understand ther is a lazer procedure that will relieve this problem but as these surgeons have read my file before I have talked to them agree with each other so as not to rock the governmental boat. I have been going thur this for 2 years. I need someone advice and I pray that someone will respond to me this weekend--God bless and keep you all. P.S. Please send me any information you can asap.
