i was in a car wreck 8 months ago. i have had these episodes of "shaking" when i walk, tremendous horrible lower back pain, right in the middle of my spine. i had one MRI on my lower back, it revealed no abnormalities. when i walk, its like my legs are stuck in quick sand, and my whole body rocks back and forth like i have no control of my muscles, i guess like i have spasms, similar to someone with full-blown parkinson's. its quite painful and scary, my doctor simply shrugs and says, so you have a lower back problem, that is why i am in business. i told him of my worries and concerns and fears, and he said there isn't much he can do outside of pain meds and physical therapy. i am really worried, its getting more frequent in between remissions and the pain is getting more severe. i am worried i could have some permanent nerve damage and irrepairable nerve problems. has anyone ever heard of this or seen this in another person? i haven't heard of this before, i have never seen anyone shake like me and i don't know what to do or where to go for help. my doc is a neurologist, and i figured if anyone could help, he could, but i guess even he isn't perfect. please write me at nyte_crawler@webtv.net with any input or response to help to my inquiry. thanks so much. tonia
