I have an 11month old daughter. She has been healty, happy and has a wonderful appetite. So far so good right? Well about two weeks ago she developed a rash on her face. when I went to pick her up at daycare she looked like she had been in he sun and had a sunburn. I didn't do too much at first but then it didn't seem to subside. All the while she seemed like the same happy little girl. I took her to the Dr. but of course the rash had faded. The Dr. thought that perhaps it was Fifths disease or an allergy. But two weeks later she still has it. I have changed laundry detergent stopped using dryer sheets, change the fabric on her bed, altered her diet to test for allergies. Still no luck. I took her to another Dr. and he said that it was a contact rash. Ugggg still no change and I have altered everything including her cuddle blanket. Any ideas? And apparently neither Dr. thinks that it's eczema. A friend suggested that it could be a teething rash? could a teething rash be that bad and last that long?
