My father-in-law was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 2 years ago. I know that it is rare for anyone to live that long with this cancer. But he is a fighter. He also has rectal cancer. The pancreatic cancer has spread to his liver and his doctors are wanting to do several different procedures to him. His duodenum is blocked with scar tissue from radiation treatments also. He's had a colonectomy already. I guess my question is, what's next? Has anyone else been through all this? His doctors are amazed that he's endured all the treatments for the last 2 years. But he is deteriorating rapidly. He is over 6 feet tall and weighs less than 100 pounds. He is too weak to hold his head up. But he remains at home, that's what he wants. Please, give me some advice or a clue as to what else is going to happen to this poor man.
