My name is Matt. I'm a 43 yr. old male and have had epilepsy since age 30. Since last August, after going nearly 5 yrs. seizure free, I began to experience concurrent grnd-mal seizures. I have had grand-mal's in the past, but until last year had never experienced concurrent seizures. Has anyone else out there experienced this type of seizure?. I have since switched neurologists, and have swithed also from taking just carbamezapene to taking neurontin and trileptal. My seizure activity has not really slowed down until recently and I have experienced residualo side affects that I haven't before (blurred vision, unsteady gait, numbness, and memory loss. Anyone with similar experiences and/or ideas please respond.
