yes, microcalcifications are a problem esp. if there are clusters. If you live near a comprehensive cancer center or a teaching hospital, go there and insist on an ultrasound. The fact that your mom had bc is troubling also. Also the fact that you had a cyst is bad. I am not trying to scare you, but better to be safe than sorry. The best thing going for people with bc is early detection. Don't let doctors tell you just to wait and see.
