hi my name is bobbie. we also have an adopted son(my nephew)who has fragile x. he is now 21 yrs. old. let me encourage to get in support groups and have an open mind. we always said we would NEVER place lee in group home, but 2 yrs. ago it was the hardest time of our lives.(us and 3 other of our children)we had to make the decision to place him in group home. ah man! it was hard when the other 3 grew up and left home but its been 2 yrs. since that day and my husband and i are still trying to get used to it. please hang on to GOD!(CAUSE YOU ARE GONNA NEED HIM) AND KNOW THAT OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YA) IF I CAN HELP OR BE OF ASSISTANCE IN ANY WAY PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME.
