When my mother was dx with stomach cancer she chose to have chemotherapy. She had to be fed through a feeding tube which at times was messy. I wore latex gloves as told to but wonder if, when I did her laundry without gloves, I may have come in contact with some of this mess and it caused my immume system to suffer. I am very intolerant of strong odors and sometimes can smell or taste the odors for hours after being exposed. Can anyone tell me anything about this?
