I am 50 and just went on low dose birth control pills to relieve the peri menopause symptoms. I take no other medication and do not have high blood pressure, which is a conter indication. I am to take these for several months and then stop to see if my periods have stopped. The first two weeks I felt great again. I am on the second two weeks now and I am begining to have power surges and be up nights. Mood swings are comming back. How are other people doing with these low dose pills?
