I am 54 and at age 19 no period for 4 month. Thinking I was pregnant I started bleeding and was diagnosed with cystic ovary which was removed. I started gaining weight, excess hair on face, arms, legs, stomach started. I was never able to conceive and at age 39 the other ovary became cystic and a hysterectomy followed. I have high blood pressure, high fasting insulin, depression, and fatigue. Is there medication to alleviate the above symptoms after a hysterectomy and, if so, what should I inform my doctor about.
