I have been reading up on this disorder and I am pretty sure that my nephew (who is 18 and studying computer engineering at Boston University) has Asperger's Syndrome. His parent's have never admitted to themselves or the family that there is anything wrong with their son. I am concerned for him and don't know how to bring up the subject to my brother. I am pretty sure that if I said that there might be a problem with their son, they will never talk to me again. I fear that he should have been getting help and treatment. Is it too late and how do I talk to them? Also, he seems to have some of the classic symptoms that I have been reading about, but I was wondering if this was part of the syndrome-his tongue always seems to be hanging out of his mouth. He sort of looks retarded, but if you ask him a question, he answers you in a very articulate way. You don't expect this kind of voice to come out of him. Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks.
