First of all, I would be wary of anyone who claimed that their products can cure cancer. My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer 7 years ago and refused to have his prostate removed. He underwent radiation and luckily remains cancer free today. However, based on the stage of his cancer and current statistics, not having the surgery reduced his chance of being alive at the 5 year mark to only 60%. What treatment you decide on should be based on the stage of your disease; different treatments are used for different stages. Also, cancer is a very heterogeneous disease, and just because alternative methods may have worked for someone elses prostate cancer they may not work for you. I do have a bit of a bias here as I do medical research, and thus favor the tried and true treatments :) . Anyway, I would get treatment opinions from Drs. that specialize in different treatments. For example, you should talk to a radiation oncologist, a surgeon, etc. That way, you can make the most informed decision possible. Good Luck!!
