I was diagnosed 10 years ago with Meniere's. Most times I am free of vertigo, but do tend to severe bouts now and then. My main problem seems to be with sudden bouts of hearing loss. I will be fine one minute then suddenly my ears cut out and there is nothing; no sounds of snapping, crackling or high pitched whines. I hear NOTHING. Is this common with Meniere's? I seem to be the only one who has the problem. My hearing will be gone as short as a few seconds to this last time of three weeks, then it slowly returns. Each time the tinitus is just a little worse. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
