I have read your message. My son Thomas is 17months and has just been diagnosed with leukodystrophy which is unclassified at the moment. This news has totally devasted us and we feel as if our world is falling apart. Thomas is beautiful,he smiles and can crawl but he cannot walk or talk and we dont think he will ever be able to, because we feel we are seeing early signs of deterioration. Thomas has a large head and delayed development. We feel helpless and would travel anywhere in the world for help. We must never give up hope that someone, somewhere may one day be able to help our children. Our children are very special and at this time we can only live in hope. Thinking of you from a broken hearted mammy in England.
