Macy---Don't be surprized if your OB/Gyn scoffs at the estrogen "connection" to your angina . I went to three highly reputable OB/GYN's before one said "that nurse was right---so let's stay off of them". But I must tell you Macy---don't get caught up in the current SOY craze---it's a well documented fact that Soy slows down the metabolism---and therefore CAN cause more hormonal imbalaces than correct them ! Menopausal women have actually benefitted more from Progesterone creams for their hot-flashes, etc., than from estrogen---which is stored in fat, and causes more fat to be produced for more storage. If you're over-weight, you need progesterone cream, because your body's got it's own littl estrogen store. I've come to realize that most Dr.s just trust what the pharmacy distributors tell them in their leaflets, instead of reading fine-print and getting well informed. Good-luck!
