This is a response to the person who sent a message regarding her 9 year old son having EBV. My daughter was initially diagnosed with EBV, but a year later when the symptoms reappeared (she was dreadfully sick for 3 months the first time), she was diagnosed with Lyme Disease and is now being treated for it. I've since learned many lyme disease victims are misdiagnosed with EBV. I suggest you read up on lyme, many of the symptoms are like EBV. I was the one to uncover this mystery. When I took the info. to a lyme literate doctor, her diagnosis was confirmed.
