My nephew is a manic depressive. He is 27 years old and out of control. My brother and sister-in-law believe that it is hopeless. There is no help for him. No one cares and no one understands. They have been experiencing very serious problems with him for the past 12 years. My sister-in-law is on the verge of a nervous breakdown and my brother had a stoke about 7 years ago. He is paralized on his entire right side. But does well considering. They are both 50 years of age. What can I do to help? They tell me I don't understand because I have not gone through their experiences. Is there some type of legislature being introduced to help manic depressives? Where can I, my family members and friends send letters to help. My sister-in-law says there are too many roadblocks.
