Sandra
I had my gall bladder removed last Friday (9/1/00) because of the bad time I'd have every time I'd eat anything with fat in it. After the surgery, I have just been diagnosed with gastroesophigal (sp?) reflux laryngitis and on meds. best things to do is don't eat 2-3 hours before bedtime. don't lay down after eating any meal. Chamomile tea helps sometimes, and it is very important to elevate your head at least 6 inches. I've been using pillows, but 6 inch blocks at your head board will help. gaviscon has helped me also. It took me months to figure out the gall bladder needed to be removed, because it didn't bother me all the time. Then about two months ago whamee!!, anything with fat caused the problem. I cut out everything with fat. Not fun, but not the pain either. Hope this helps.
