I am hoping someone can share some infor or point me in an appropriate direction. I had rheumatic fever as a youth: 10 years old, bedriden for 4 months, restricted in terms of activity for a further year, on penicillin until age 18. I am now 43, experiencing some hard to diagnose health troubles (chronic headaches and weakness). I am told this may be a result of my bout with rheumatic fever. However, although I read of possible organ damage/degeneration which may be caused by rheumatic fever, I have not yet happened upon source material which explains just what types of symptoms might surface as a result. What might one look out for? Any advice would be appreciated. Gregg
