My mother was diagnosed a little over two years ago at age 67 with hydrocephalus. At that time she received a VP shunt which never helped. After a year of teasting, CT scans, MRIs, and spinal taps, it was finally discovered that her catheter was clogged and had never worked. Exactly 1 year later she had a revision. It has never helped. Her neurosurgeon and neurologist have given up on trying to help her. She cannot walk without holding on to something or someone for dear life. Hr doctors just say to keep trying to use a cane. If anyone knows of any other treatment options or of a good physician please let me know. I cannot believe that she will never be able to walk again because of this illness. Thank-You !!!!!!
