Hi. My name is Martha and I have spinal cord compression, neck/back surgeries and mylofascial pain syndrome. I got NOWHERE for so long (and) I finally found not only an excellent pain management MD. but treatment THAT works. I am an athletic person and suffered with so much frustration, pain and unknowing MD's for sooooo long that i wanted to write this note of encouragement to all of you who are still suffering. Whether it's CFS, Fibromalagia or spinal stuff DO NOT GIVE UP. I am seeing A WONDERFUL MD & Human ! now who is treating me with Pro-lo therapy, neural therapy and some complimentary medicine. I have great feeling in my extremities for the first time in years and the Pro-Lo is most likey preventing me from having a three level fusion in my neck. I now think about the MD's i saw that had such little understanding of Pain Syndromes and how to FIX the source of the problem. If your MD does not know what to do or tells you that there is nothing else that can be done...HE/SHE is WRONG. I see a psyciatrist who specializes in several state of the art modalities and I am getting fixed. I live in Ct. but will be happy to give information to anyone that needs it. I think the worst thing is that if Drs. don't know how to address our symptoms they either give up, suggest surgery or at worst, blame us. Help is out there.
