My husband was recently dx with multiple myeloma and last week had heart failure for the second time in six weeks. The doctor said his heart had thickened and he will be testing for amyloidosis next week. He also has internal bleeding from unknown sources and nothing showed up on ab ct or upi with small bowel followthrough. He has no tumors in the bone marrow nor int the abdominal area. colonoscopy and endoscopy of the stomach were normal. next week we must plan small bowel endoscopy to find the bleeding which shows upon stool samples. His heme is down to 8.6 and his igG is 2830. chemo by tablet form is supposed to start next week. Can anyone tell me what we can expect from all of this? He is a very sick man, no appetite, lossof weight, extreme fatigue, and sleeping a lot. Any input will be helpful. I don't have another person to discuss this with. Thanx
