My husband is 34 years old and has had five episodes of cellulitus in the past 4 years. He is a diabetic and the risk are greater for him. He has extremely high fevers and his lower legs blister from the heat. We have had two episodes that required him to be hospitalized with intravenous antibiotics. The doctors attribute this condition to poor circulation and just seem to patch the problem each time and never resove the problem for good. We have had times where thay thiught he had blood clots from this condition and have even been told that he could loose his legs if it worsens. My husband is 6' -6" tall and is a big frame man, the doctors tell me that his size effects cellulitus. The episodes are coming without warning these days, he wakes in the middle of the night with a high fever and within hours he is extremely sick. I have decided that I have to educate myself on this condition because the doctors can not seem to do so. Please if anyone has any information or places that I can look for possible cures, please let me know.
